These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of viridianlabs.co and its products, including MedVault and CardLedger (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Viridian Labs ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Information Security Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to bind yourself to these Terms.
You agree not to:
MedVault is an information-management and care-coordination tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Features such as pill identification and drug interaction hints are informational only and must not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional.
CardLedger is a personal finance tracking and invoicing tool. It is not a bank, broker, lender, or investment adviser, and the Service does not provide financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Debt-payoff simulations, balance forecasts, and category breakdowns are estimates based on the inputs you provide; real account balances are authoritative. Always consult a qualified financial professional when making financial decisions.
The Service integrates with third-party providers. Each integration is subject to the provider's own terms and privacy policy. You authorize us to exchange data with these providers as needed to deliver the Service you requested.
By providing your phone number and explicitly opting in (during signup or in your account settings), you consent to receive SMS messages from Viridian Labs at the number you provided. Message types include account verification codes, prescription refill alerts (MedVault), bill reminders (CardLedger), and merchant notifications (Fintra). Message frequency varies by your account activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out. Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any Viridian Labs SMS to be unsubscribed immediately from all SMS. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages thereafter.
Help. Reply HELP or INFO to any Viridian Labs SMS to receive support contact information.
Phone numbers and SMS content are not shared with third parties for marketing or advertising. See our Privacy Policy §6 for full details on SMS data handling.
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant Viridian Labs a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to deliver the Service to you and those you explicitly authorize. We do not use Your Content to train AI models. Your Content is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is currently offered without a subscription fee. If paid plans are introduced, pricing and billing terms will be disclosed at the time you upgrade, and these Terms will be updated accordingly. Stripe Payment Links generated by CardLedger represent a payment from a third party to you directly — Viridian Labs does not take a cut.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance or make changes to the Service at any time. Critical interruptions are announced in-product where practical.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service. On termination, your personal data is removed per the Data Retention and Disposal Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viridian Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold Viridian Labs harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those updates.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
